A wonderful visit

Ciara is doing well today weighing in at 1lb 7 oz. She is still on the ventilator but it doing well with her breathing. There is talk of taking her off the respirator and putting her on the CPAP machine. She is breathing well enough for it but she may get tired breathing on her own. They are going to try to introduce some breast milk today. She may not be ready to digest it on her own yet. Her heart and brain ultrasounds both came back well. It does look like the heart ductus is closed. Praise the Lord! So far there are no brain bleeds to speak of. Corey and I had a wonderful visit with her last night. She had a poopy diaper while we were there visiting so they let me change her. After the diaper change they needed to change her sheets so Corey and I got to hold her! It was so wonderful. She smells so good and I didn't want to put her down. Please keep praying she continues to do well.

Thank you sooo much for sharing the photos of your beautiful daughter. We are praying for her each and every moment she comes to our minds. I asked the ladies in my Bible study to pray over her today, as well. Trusting for the Lord's provision for Ciara and for YOU!
We love you and May God bless and keep you,

Thank you for setting up this blog. I want to call everyday, but don't want to take up your time, so this is great. I continue to pray for all of you every day. God Bless.
